As a Bethesda fanboy, I can’t help but be excited about the news. Hamrick’s track record at Bungie is impressive to say the least. In his six years at Bungie, Hamrick worked not only Destiny, but on Halo: Reach. As Hines wrote, team Bethesda is “excited to get Josh on board.”

The addition of a player like Hamrick helps fuel speculation that Bethesda will be making a huge announcement at this year’s E3. Though Hamrick doesn’t reveal what project he’ll be working on, it’s easy to envision him using his talents on Bethesda’s next “big thing.” Will it be Fallout 4 or Elder Scrolls VI? No one knows for certain, but it’s safe to say that team Bethesda is planning something special for E3 2015 — and it looks like Hamrick joined up just in time to be a part of the action. Dare I say it’s his destiny? Stay tuned, fellow travelers!
