New ESO Frostmare Mount Is Chill

Datamining reveals a new ESO Frostmare mount.

Looking for a new ride? The latest datamining effort from Dominoid reveals the new ESO Frostmare mount. The Frostmare is definitely one of the more unusual horses in The Elder Scrolls Online, complete with glacial blue skin and chiseled looks. In fact, the horse appears to be the polar opposite of the fiery Nightmare Courser, available for sale now in the Crown Store.

ESO Frostmare Mount

According to the datamined info, this is how ZeniMax Online Studios (ZOS) describes the ESO Frostmare mount:

With its icy gaze and steaming breath, the frigid Frost Mare seems carved from the very glaciers of Skyrim.

It’s important to note that at the time of this article, ZOS hasn’t officially revealed this new mount.

As the devs have reminded the ESO Community in the past, datamining information about the game isn’t illegal or against the Terms of Service, but nothing is for certain — anything datamined is subject to change.

That said, it’s hard to believe that ZOS won’t release the Frostmare for sale in the cash shop at some point in the future. Based on the mount’s distinctive look, the devs could easily ask 25,000 Crowns — the going rate for premium rides (e.g., Nightmare Courser, Senche Leopard, Black Panther). Whether the Frostmare would be on sale for a limited time like some of the other mounts is anyone’s guess at this time.
