Skyrim Star Trek Mod Adds Spock As A Follower

Add Spock as your follower with this Skyrim Star Trek mod.

Today is a sad day for science fiction and fantasy fans the world over. As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, Leonard Nimoy passed away 🙁 His portrayal of Mr. Spock in the Star Trek universe is brilliant, and the character has been, and shall always be our friend. Leonard Nimoy was 83 years young.

Unlike Patrick Stewart (“Star Trek: The Next Generation”) or Michael Hogan (“Battlestar Galactica”), sci-fi great Leonard Nimoy was never given the opportunity to voice act in the Elder Scrolls franchise. This is a real shame. His incredible voice would have added much to the series.

That said, Skyrim fans have the opportunity to pay tribute to Leonard Nimoy in a unique way. A Skyrim Star Trek mod exists that allows you to add Mr. Spock as a follower. Obviously, this mod isn’t lore friendly in the slightest (*raises eyebrow* Vulcans in Skyrim are not logical), but how cool would it be to have Spock as your wingman while exploring Dwemer ruins?

The Skyrim Star Trek mod was created by Your Mom, the modder best known for Battle Tower! His Star Trek mod not only allows you to add Spock as a follower, but makes Vulcans a playable character Race. With a 50% fire damage resist and a special “Throw Enemy” spell (to mimic both a Vulcan’s resistance to high temperatures and enhanced strength), the mod will help you to boldly go where no Dragonborn has gone before.

Goodbye Leonard Nimoy. You will be sorely missed.
