The Elder Scrolls VI: Redguard may be the name of the next title in the Elder Scrolls series.
Now that the Fallout 4 rumors have been put to rest, it’s time to start speculating about The Elder Scrolls VI. It’s safe to say that fans can’t wait for the sequel to Skyrim, and like a fidgety Khajiit, are ready to pounce on any news regarding the beloved game series.

The Elder Scrolls VI: Redguard
According to recent reports circulating on the internet, The Elder Scrolls VI: Redguard may be the name of Skyrim’s sequel (the other possible choice being Argonia). It should be noted that the reports are speculative at best. Bethesda and its ZeniMax parent company are well known in the industry for being tight lipped when it comes to sharing information regarding projects.
Redguard Makes Some Sense
The Elder Scrolls VI: Redguard does make some sense, considering that ZeniMax trademarked the name “Redguard” in 2011 (the same year Skyrim was released). There was a 1998 spin-off titled The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard, but many fans don’t consider this third-person game as canon. It seems unlikely that ZeniMax would want to protect the game, especially considering the company let the trademarks lapse for Arena and Daggerfall (the first two games in the Elder Scrolls series).
The Elder Scrolls VI: Redguard or The Elder Scrolls VI: Argonia? No matter what Skyrim’s sequel is eventually called, fans should expect an epic game.
Given the choice though, would you rather continue your Elder Scrolls adventure in the deserts and grasslands of Hammerfell, or in the humid swamps and rainforests of Black Marsh? Perhaps another Tamriel province entirely? Share your thoughts and ideas in the comment section below. Until next time, fellow travelers!
