The Elder Scrolls Online has been nominated for Best Online Game in the 32nd annual Golden Joystick Awards.

The 32nd annual Golden Joystick Awards nominations have been announced, and The Elder Scrolls Online is one of nine titles nominated for best online game. The Golden Joystick Awards is one of gaming industry’s longest-standing award shows, and this year’s event is being presented by Greenman Gaming.

According to the GJA voting page, the Best Online Game award:

celebrates the best of innovative and exciting multiplayer, whether it’s a dedicated MMO, MPOG, MOBA or any other type of persistent online gaming experience.

In addition to The Elder Scrolls Online, the following games have been nominated for the award:

  • DayZ
  • Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
  • Grand Theft Auto Online
  • Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft
  • WildStar
  • World of Warplanes
  • War Thunder
  • World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition

In total, there are 16 different GJA gaming categories to vote in — everything from Best Original Game to Game of the Year.
