Maelstrom Arena May Be Coming To ESO

Datamining reveals information regarding Maelstrom Arena — The Elder Scrolls Online first solo arena experience.

Elder Scrolls Online fans who’ve been clamoring for arena style battles may finally get their wish. According to recently datamined information, Maelstrom Arena will be part of Orsinium — the game’s next DLC addon.

Maelstrom Arena

Maelstrom Arena promises to offer the game’s very first solo arena experience, complete with nine combat rings and two difficulty levels. The information was found by a dataminer named Fecius. Earlier today, he shared the following tidbit with ESO Forum readers:

THE MAELSTROM ARENA

Test your might against the fiercest enemies imaginable as you, and you alone, fight for your very life. Earn prestige with leaderboard rankings and be rewarded with some of the most powerful weapons that can be won! The Maelstrom Arena features nine combat rings and two different difficulty levels. Do you have what it takes to journey into the Maelstrom?

At the time of this article, the ESO devs haven’t officially released any information regarding Maelstrom Arena. It should be noted that datamined information isn’t final, and is subject to change.
