The Toon Skyrim mod changes the Dragonborn’s world into a vibrant cartoon.

A few weeks ago, a modder with the handle UniqueUses, launched a series of test images from the upcoming Toon Skyrim. This promising mod takes the Skyrim that we know and love, and does something completely fantastic — transforming the Dragonborn’s world into a living cartoon.

The test images shared by UniqueUses are flat out gorgeous. There are lots of mods that enhance the game beautifully, but Toon Skyrim is completely unique. The bold colors and simplified textures give Skyrim an absolutely different look and feel reminiscent of World of Warcraft or The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

Release Date

As of now, there’s no official release date for Toon Skyrim. The mod is still being tweaked, and UniqueUses promises a Nexus upload as soon as “existing problems are fixed.”
